Michael Silva, Director, Technical Solutions, Lightspin
Michael Silva is the Director of Technical Solutions at Lightspin, where he leads the solutions architects, customer success engineers and technical account managers teams. Michael also aids in the technical discussions with partners.
Michael is an experienced technical leader with more than 15 years’ experience working within various technical teams, spanning multiple disciplines. Prior to Michael's tenure with Lightspin, he worked for companies such as Chef and Nutanix where he was the technical lead and was part of a global team of subject matter experts in the fields of distributed storage and automation. He helped create the Nutanix master level and professional level exams in the aforementioned fields.
Michael also worked for Cisco where he works as a DevSecOps engineer helping design and secure applications to be delivered to US Department of Defense. He worked through getting the applications through FEDRamp audits and achieving their authority to operate. Michael also has worked at various MSPs, even helping start one from the ground up that became the largest MSP for auto dealerships in the US within 3 years.
